Garlic & Shallot Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1 Bag Ore Ida Steam n' Mash Cut Russet Potatoes
- 4 SHALLOTS finely chopped
- 4 GARLIC CLOVES minced
- GREEN ONION chopped for garnishing
- CHIVES chopped for garnishing
- 3 Tablespoon(s) SOUR CREAM
- NUTMEG pinch of nutmeg
- 2 Tablespoon(s) ROMANO CHEESE grated
- MILK to preferred consistency
- SALT AND PEPPER to taste
Instructions
Finely chop the shallots, garlic and green onions.
Melt butter in a frying pan. Sauté garlic and shallots until golden brown. Set aside.
Microwave Steam n' Mash Cut Russet Potatoes according to package directions. Transfer to large mixing bowl.
Mash the potatoes with a potato masher. Add sour cream and combine.
Add milk a little at a time and continue to mash the potatoes until your preferred creamy consistency. Add garlic and shallot mixture and cheese.
Top with green onions. Season with nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste.
