What goes best with a juicy grilled steak served over crunchy salad? Why, crispy baked steak fries, of course!
14 oz. (1/2 of 28-oz. pkg.) ORE-IDA Steak Fries
2 boneless beef strip steaks (1 lb.), 1/2 inch thick
1/2 cup HEINZ 57 Sauce
4 cups tightly packed torn romaine lettuce
1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
1 cup slivered red onions
1/2 cup ATHENOS Crumbled Blue Cheese
Heat oven to 350ºF and heat grill to medium heat.
Bake fries in oven as directed on package. Meanwhile, grill steaks 4 to 7 min. on each side or until medium doneness (160ºF), turning and brushing frequently with the 57 Sauce for the last 5 min.
Transfer steaks to cutting board; let stand 5 min. Meanwhile, toss lettuce with tomatoes and onions; place on 4 salad plates.
Cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices; place over salads. Sprinkle with cheese.
